SaskWatch Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the SaskWatch Affiliate Program (the “Program”), operated by Insightrix Research Inc. through SaskWatch Research® (“SaskWatch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By applying to and participating in the SaskWatch Affiliate Program, you (“Affiliate”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Insightrix may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms & Conditions or communication to Affiliates. You agree to review these Terms & Conditions periodically to be aware of such modifications, and your continued participation in the SaskWatch Affiliate Program shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

The SaskWatch Affiliate Program is intended for individuals, creators, influencers, bloggers, businesses, organizations, and others who have an audience that includes Saskatchewan residents.

There is no cost to apply or participate in the Program.

Affiliates must provide accurate and complete information when applying, including their name, email address, relevant social media handles or links, and information about their audience.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the Program. SaskWatch reserves the right to review and approve Affiliate applications.

Employees of Insightrix Research Inc. and SaskWatch Research® are not eligible to participate in the Program unless otherwise authorized.

2. Affiliate Approval and Unique Referral Link

Once approved, each Affiliate will receive a unique SaskWatch affiliate link.

Affiliates must use this link when promoting SaskWatch. Referrals that cannot be connected to an Affiliate’s unique link may not be eligible for payment.

Affiliate links are assigned to the approved Affiliate and should not be transferred, sold, or provided to another person for the purpose of representing themselves as the approved Affiliate.

3. Affiliate Resource Package

Approved Affiliates will receive a SaskWatch Affiliate Resource Package to help them promote SaskWatch accurately and consistently.

The package may include:

  • SaskWatch logos and approved brand assets
  • Brand colours and basic visual guidelines
  • Approved SaskWatch descriptions and key messages
  • Content and promotional ideas
  • Information about how SaskWatch should be represented
  • Other approved materials or instructions provided by SaskWatch

Affiliates are encouraged to use the materials provided when creating content about SaskWatch.

SaskWatch logos, graphics, copy, and other branded materials remain the property of SaskWatch Research® and/or Insightrix Research Inc. Providing these materials does not transfer ownership of the SaskWatch brand or intellectual property to the Affiliate.

4. Representing the SaskWatch Brand

Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that their content represents SaskWatch accurately, professionally, and in accordance with the Affiliate Resource Package and any additional instructions provided by SaskWatch.

Affiliates must not make false, misleading, exaggerated, or unauthorized claims about SaskWatch, including claims about survey availability, earnings, rewards, prizes, membership benefits, or guaranteed income.

Affiliates may not alter the SaskWatch logo or other supplied brand assets in a way that misrepresents the brand.

Affiliates are responsible for the content they create and publish when promoting SaskWatch, including compliance with applicable advertising, disclosure, social media, and other legal requirements.

SaskWatch may ask an Affiliate to edit or remove content that inaccurately represents SaskWatch, uses SaskWatch branding improperly, or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

5. Referral Payment

The current Affiliate rate is:

$5 CAD per valid completed signup.

There is currently no set maximum number of valid referrals an Affiliate may earn payment for. Referred registrants must be at least 16 years old and residents of Saskatchewan.

A referral will generally be considered completed when the referred individual:

  1. Uses the Affiliate’s unique referral link;
  2. Completes the SaskWatch registration process;
  3. Confirms their email address;
  4. Meets SaskWatch membership eligibility requirements; and
  5. Successfully passes SaskWatch’s account and referral validation process.

The Affiliate Program payment is separate from any signup bonus, points, surveys, rewards, or other incentives offered directly to the new SaskWatch member.

6. Referral Validation and Fraud Prevention

All referrals are subject to validation before an Affiliate payment is issued.

SaskWatch may review referrals to confirm that they represent legitimate, eligible SaskWatch members and were obtained in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Referrals may be considered invalid if they involve, for example:

  • Duplicate or multiple accounts belonging to the same individual
  • Fake, automated, or fabricated registrations
  • Individuals who do not meet SaskWatch membership requirements
  • False or misleading registration information
  • Registrations created primarily to generate Affiliate payments
  • Manipulation of SaskWatch's registration or referral systems
  • Unauthorized incentives or representations
  • Other activity SaskWatch reasonably determines to be fraudulent or inconsistent with the Program

Only valid, verified referrals are eligible for Affiliate payment.

If an Affiliate repeatedly generates fraudulent, suspicious, or invalid registrations, SaskWatch reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Affiliate partnership and deactivate the Affiliate’s referral link. Any outstanding referrals will remain subject to validation, and payment will only be issued for referrals confirmed as valid and eligible under the Program Terms & Conditions.

7. Monthly Review and Payment

Affiliate referrals will generally be reviewed and tallied monthly.

Following validation, SaskWatch will calculate the number of valid completed signups attributed to each Affiliate and arrange payment based on the applicable Affiliate rate.

All valid, verified referrals will be paid in accordance with the Program terms.

SaskWatch/Insightrix Research Inc. retains the right to make the final determination regarding referral validity and eligibility for payment, acting reasonably and based on its records and validation procedures.

If a referral is determined to be fraudulent, duplicated, incomplete, ineligible, or otherwise invalid, SaskWatch is not required to issue an Affiliate payment for that referral.

Payment processing times and methods may vary. Affiliates will be provided with any information required to receive payment.

8. Prohibited Affiliate Activities

Affiliates must not:

  • Create fake or duplicate SaskWatch accounts;
  • Register individuals without their knowledge or consent;
  • Misrepresent themselves as an employee or official representative of SaskWatch or Insightrix Research Inc.;
  • Make guarantees about the amount of money a SaskWatch member can earn;
  • Make misleading statements about survey frequency or availability;
  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages promoting SaskWatch;
  • Use misleading advertising or deceptive methods to generate registrations;
  • Alter SaskWatch materials in a manner that could damage or misrepresent the brand;
  • Use SaskWatch trademarks, logos, or branding for purposes unrelated to the Affiliate Program without authorization; or
  • Engage in conduct that violates applicable laws, platform policies, or these Terms & Conditions.

9. Affiliate Relationship

Participation in the SaskWatch Affiliate Program does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, franchise, or agency relationship between the Affiliate and SaskWatch or Insightrix Research Inc.

Affiliates participate as independent participants in the Program and are responsible for their own promotional activities.

Affiliates are also responsible for any tax reporting or other obligations that may apply to payments they receive through the Program.

10. Advertising and Disclosure

Affiliates are responsible for clearly disclosing their relationship with SaskWatch where required.

Any social media post, website content, video, advertisement, email, or other promotional material should comply with applicable advertising requirements and the rules of the platform on which it appears.

Affiliates should not present paid Affiliate promotions as independent or unaffiliated recommendations where disclosure is required.

11. Intellectual Property

The SaskWatch name, SaskWatch Research® name, logos, graphics, designs, trademarks, and other brand materials are owned by or licensed to Insightrix Research Inc.

Approved Affiliates receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the materials provided by SaskWatch solely for participation in the Affiliate Program.

SaskWatch may request that an Affiliate stop using its brand materials at any time, including after the Affiliate leaves or is removed from the Program.

12. Changes

All information posted on the Site or provided through the SaskWatch Affiliate Program is subject to change without notice. In addition, these Terms & Conditions and the Affiliate Program may be changed at any time, without prior notice, in the sole discretion of Insightrix. Such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified or amended Terms & Conditions on the Site or communication to Affiliates. You agree to review these Terms & Conditions periodically to be aware of such modifications, and your continued use of the Site or participation in the SaskWatch Affiliate Program shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified Terms & Conditions.

SaskWatch may update the Affiliate Program from time to time, including changes to:

Affiliate payment rates
Referral requirements
Validation procedures
Promotional guidelines
Available Affiliate resources
Payment processes
These Terms & Conditions

Where practical, Affiliates will be informed of material changes that affect their continued participation.

Any change to the referral rate will apply according to the effective date communicated by SaskWatch and will not be used to avoid payment for valid referrals already earned under the applicable Program terms.

13. Suspension or Termination

SaskWatch reserves the right to suspend or terminate an Affiliate’s participation if the Affiliate violates these Terms & Conditions, misrepresents SaskWatch, engages in fraudulent activity, or otherwise uses the Program in a manner that could harm SaskWatch, its members, or Insightrix Research Inc.

An Affiliate may also choose to leave the Program by contacting SaskWatch.

Termination does not remove an Affiliate’s eligibility to receive payment for valid, verified referrals earned before the effective termination date, subject to these Terms & Conditions.

After leaving the Program, the Affiliate must stop representing themselves as a SaskWatch Affiliate and discontinue use of SaskWatch Affiliate materials when requested.

14. Privacy

Information collected from Affiliate applicants and participants will be used to administer the SaskWatch Affiliate Program, communicate with Affiliates, validate referrals, process payments, and maintain Program records.

Information relating to individuals who join SaskWatch will be handled in accordance with SaskWatch’s Privacy Policy.

SaskWatch will not provide Affiliates with confidential information about individual SaskWatch members beyond information reasonably necessary to administer the Affiliate Program.

15. Limitation of Liability

SaskWatch and Insightrix Research Inc. are not responsible for technical interruptions, third-party platform outages, social media platform changes, incorrect Affiliate links posted by an Affiliate, or other circumstances outside their reasonable control that may affect referral tracking.

Affiliates are responsible for confirming that they are using the correct unique Affiliate link supplied by SaskWatch.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights or obligations that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By participating in the SaskWatch Affiliate Program, the Affiliate confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Continued participation in the Program is subject to compliance with these Terms & Conditions and any Affiliate guidelines provided by SaskWatch.
